Photo taken on my ship, USS Fitzgerald (DDG-62). Very rare to have seas this calm around Japan so I had to capture it. Photo was taken in 2009.

For those of you who are curious or just like military stuff, the Fitz is an Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyer and was commissioned in 1995. Currently her home port is Yokosuka, Japan and I was stationed on her from 2008 to the beginning of this year (2011).

My husband is 1st on Fitzgerald currently at this time. Fitzgerald is my favorite ship.
